Terrie Carpenter is a licensed Physical Therapist who has been practicing in her field for 42 years. During the course of her career Ms. Carpenter has had considerable clinical experience. She has worked extensively in the acute care and out patient settings. She has been actively involved in program development and clinical teaching of physical therapy interns. She participated in spearheading the growth of the cardiopulmonary area of physical therapy. She has worked colaboratively on federal grants designed to teach acute care to hospitals in more rural areas.

Ms. Carpenter has been in private practice for the last 10 years and has specialized in the areas of pain management and addiction. She has consulted to residential programs and designed an innovative approach to working with this client population on a residential and outpatient basis.

She has created a very effective three level approach to healing the musculoskeletal system and designed lifeskill training classes to support her clients in staying well long term. She also works with her clients in wellness and injury prevention. Ms. Carpenter is a national speaker and author.

Throughout her life’s journey one thing has remained constant and that is her passion to support individuals and systems in making positive and lasting change. Combining her education, training, professional and personal experiences she has created The Change Model. This model provides the foundational piece for her professional work, her volunteer efforts and her desire to live a conscious, effective and satisfying life.

Dr. Robynne O'Byrne is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has been practicing in Marin County for 11 years. She is passionate about helping people heal from trauma, helping families communicate and function better and helping couples find resolution to chronic conflict. Dr. O’Byrne has considerable experience working with young children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.  She has worked in a variety of settings as a therapist including elementary and high schools, community mental health agencies, hospitals and crisis units. She has extensive training and experience in crisis intervention, couples and family therapy, treatment of sexual and physical abuse, parenting, learning disabilities, the treatment of anxiety, depression, personality disorders and PTSD.

Dr. O'Byrne utilizes a variety of therapeutic modalities in her treatment of patients.  With young children she focuses on play therapy as the primary treatment modality.  With adults Dr. O'Byrne integrates hypnotherapy, guided visualization, relaxation training and energy work into a traditional psychotherapy model.  She has had great success helping patients break self-defeating patterns, alleviate depression and anxiety, heal from childhood physical, sexual and psychological abuse and find more success and satisfaction in parenting and family relationships.

Dr. O’Byrne lives in Marin with her husband and two sons. During her personal time she values spending time with her family, hiking, cooking, reading, and being involved in the arts.
