How to Create Sustainable Change in 2021

By setting a conscious intention to change, getting the right support to move through your self-limiting beliefs, and being patient enough to tolerate real change, which comes with consistent baby steps, you can start making your desired changes a reality.

2020 has been an unusual and trying time. We are all preparing and planning for a world we do not yet know; setting an intention for moving into 2021 will be calming.

I have based and built my clinical practice on something I developed called The Change Model©. I have witnessed the difficulty people have in changing their beliefs to help them change their habits. Deeply understanding this process of change has helped me help my clients take small steps to create impactful and lasting change.

 

Attempting large change fast is virtually impossible. And when we don’t succeed, our confidence takes a hit, making further change even more difficult. Change is a slow process. It is not about what you do in giant leaps, but the small things you do every day. Be very aware that change is a process, not an event.
